After a successful run at the NZIFF last year, Nadine Labaki's Capharnaum is also in the running for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2019 Academy Awards. The film follows Zain, a 12 year old Lebanese boy who has had a troubled childhood and ultimately decides to sue his parents for giving him life.
