Wifters work to feature at SxSW Festival

And still more congratulations to these members whose work will feature at the prestigious SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas in March. The Chills: The Triumph & Tragedy of Martin Phillipps is directed by Julia Parnell, co-directed by Rob Curry and produced by Nicola Peeperkoorn, Tim Riley and Parnell. It tells the story of lyrical genius, Martin Phillipps and his band, The Chills. Vai, produced by Waru's Kerry Warkia and Kiel McNaughton, is a portmanteau feature film made made by nine female Pacific filmmakers and filmed in seven different Pacific countries. Running from 8 - 16 March, 2019, the SXSW Film Festival celebrates innovation and talent behind and in front of the camera.

Gear up for the Maoriland Festival

Every March, film makers and film lovers from all over the world descend on the small town of ?taki for five days of screenings workshops, art exhibitions and special events. And it will happen again - and be bigger and better - very soon. The sixth annual M?oriland Film Festival will run from March 20 - 24 2019. Over the past five years, MFF has grown to be the largest international indigenous film festival in the Southern Hemisphere welcoming over 12,500 attendees in March 2018. Watch this space!
