New report reveals how women fare in the French film and TV industry

Women directed only 23.3% of feature films in France in 2017. Click the link below to read Screendaily.com's interesting report on findings from a recent study that looked at every aspect of female representation in France's film and TV industry between 2008 and 2017. Interestingly, the study found women were paid more on average than men in just a handful of roles, notably 'script girl', where their pay was on average 18% higher, and stuntwomen due to the scarcity of women working in this domain.
