Don't miss your chance to see this stunning celebration of the strength of women from the Pacific, and support a good cause at the same time. Vai is a portmanteau feature film by nine female Pacific filmmakers and filmed on seven Pacific islands. It's about the journey of empowerment through culture over a lifetime. All proceeds go to support the costs of the OMEP Pacific Islands Nation/OMEP Aotearoa teacher exchange which provides invaluable opportunities for teachers (this year from Tuvalu and Fiji) to experience Early Childhood Centre settings in New Zealand and to exchange professional knowledge with Kiwi teachers. As well, Kiwi teachers are able to gain invaluable insights into the spiritual and cultural practices of the Pacific Islands.Tickets cost just $25, bring some cash for the raffle!
