Wifters shine at NZ TV Craft Awards

Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 New Zealand Television Craft Awards! Mitchell Hawkes won Best Director: Multi Camera for You Are Us / Aroha Nui, MediaWorks (Three); Images & Sound won Best Contribution to a Soundtrack for In Dark Places, for South Pacific Pictures and 10000 Company (TVNZ 1); Sarah Voon won Best Costume Design for Give Kate a Voice, Vendetta Productions. The remaining 26 award winners will be announced at the Aotea Centre on Thursday 21 November at the Huawei Mate30 Pro New Zealand Television Awards gala ceremony.

Which woman in the screen industry have you always thought should win an award? She can't be recognised if you don't nominate her! Catherine Madigan (pictured right) won the 2018 Great Southern Film & Television Award for Outstanding contribution to the NZ Screen Industry, an award that honours long-term outstanding work, generous support for others, and commitment to the growth of the industry both professionally and personally.

The biennial WIFT AWARDS will be held on 2 April, 2020, at the ASB Waterfront Theatre, Auckland. Tickets go on sale in the new year.
