NZFC seeks development executive

The New Zealand Film Commission is looking for a development executive to cover parental leave from mid-November 2019 through to the end of August 2020. The development executive plays a key role in supporting the development and production of long form screen content in New Zealand through providing script and project assessment, writing reports and managing communication to writers and producers. The role also involves advising screen practitioners on development guidelines and policy, and best pathways for the successful development of their projects. The role will require regular domestic and some international travel. The position is based in Wellington (preferred) but Auckland-based candidates will be considered. We were thrilled to see that four WIFT members films are making their world premier at the upcoming Show Me Shorts festival! Congratulations to Jaya Beach-Robertson with her film TIP, Cathy MacDonald with #Collapsingempire, Rachel Ross with Number Two and Vanessa Wells with Te Whakairo - Ng? K? o Te Tai Ao (The Carvings Carry the Stories of the World).
