The simple act of swallowing must be re-learned for many people who've had a stroke. Maggie-Lee Huckabee (pictured above) and her team at the University of Canterbury Rose Centre for Stroke Recovery and Research are world-leaders in stroke rehabilitation, cough-reflex and swallowing disorders. Together they bring hope to people that 'everybody else has given up on'.
