Earlier this year, a structural change resulted in the Queenstown Lakes District Council bringing its support of film in-house and creating a Council film office. The newly-named Film Queenstown Lakes will offer film office services to the Queenstown Lakes District, as well as collaborating with Film Dunedin on continuing to deliver Film Otago Southland projects and regional production support.
Under the Film Otago Southland banner, Film Queenstown Lakes will help service Central Otago and Southland, while Film Dunedin will help service Waitaki and Clutha.
