Are you Auckland's next Artist In Residence?

Do you fancy spending a couple of months being creative whilst enjoying and being inspired by natural surroundings? The Auckland Council is looking for an Artist in Residence to spend eight weeks, from October to November 2020, doing just that! Artists and creators working in any medium are encouraged to apply. Here are a few key points you'll need to know:
A weekly artist's fee is given to contribute to the artmaking. Accommodation in a scenic location on a regional park, is offered for free. In 2020 the sites the selected artist can choose between are Glenfern Sanctuary Aotea/Great Barrier Island and Shakespear Regional Park. A working space is also provided.
Applications close on 24 February 2020.
