Weta Digital contracts manager
Contracts managers are responsible for facilitating the management of Weta Digital's crew contracts. If you have great interpersonal skills, attention to detail, can work with a talented crew, managers, and the HR team to negotiate crew contracts, this could be the job for you! Contract managers have their own portfolio of contracts to look after and would be part of the wider crew services team, reporting to the HR/crew services manager.
To provide a bridge for communication between Weta Digital's management team, department management and individual contractors.
To manage all administrative aspects and negotiation of the contracting process (but you don't need to be a lawyer).
To be the first point of contact for all crew contract queries.
Needs to know and have:
Great communication skills and maturity (ie be good with people and sensitive during negotiations).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
An aptitude for problem-solving.
Good attention to detail.
Awareness of the sensitive nature of the role and the importance of confidentiality.
Familiarity with basic Microsoft office functions and the ability to learn bespoke database systems.
Be a NZ resident.
