New dates for the Big Screen Symposium 2020

Hooray - the Big Screen Symposium has been rescheduled to 9 - 10 October at the ASB Waterfront Theatre Auckland! This year's theme is Transforming Culture, encompassing the transformative power of story, and the transformation of our industry through technological advances.

More info on the programme will be coming as it's announced, but Chilean director, screenwriter, editor and producer Sebasti�n Lelio (Gloria, A Fantastic Woman) is confirmed to take a virtual masterclass.

And a note on tickets - if you were a super-early bird and have already bought your ticket, it's still valid for the new dates. Organisers are offering a discount on Full Price and Industry Concession tickets. Current Full Price ticket holders have the option to request a refund for the difference in ticket price before 17 July.

Apply for Script To Screen's Story Camp, a residential feature film workshop that cultivates exceptional film by fostering voice, honing craft, and clarifying vision and kaupapa. Eight selected screenwriters or creative teams will workshop their projects with international and local advisors in a rigorous five-day experience designed specifically to meet the development needs of their feature film project. Story Camp 2020 seeks feature film projects at any stage, from treatment to advanced development.
