Tansley's 'Portrait Of A Modern Woman' wins Seed funding

Congratulations to Rebecca Tansley who has been awarded Seed funding in the New Zealand Writers Guild's first round for 2020. The NZWG says the application rate for this round was excellent, with 153 Seed and 28 Seed Advanced applications received. Rebecca's funding is for her project Portrait Of A Modern Woman, about a woman who leaves behind life in colonial New Zealand to endure loneliness, poverty and prejudice on her quest to conquer the European art world.

Entries open for the C21 International Drama Awards

These Awards recognise the best in global scripted creativity through one of the most highly regarded awards shows in the business. Judged by more than 100 of the world's leading drama commissioners and buyers, making them unique in being 'The Business on The Business' awards for scripted television.

Dates to take note of:

All entries must have had their first broadcast between 1 September 2019 and 30 September 2020.

The awards entry period ends on 18 September, 2020.

The finalists will be announced on 2 November, 2020.

The winners will be announced in a gala ceremony on Wednesday 2 December 2020, during Content London, in the flesh, or through the digital edition.
