Poppy is first Kiwi film out of the blocks

It's great to hear that Poppy, produced by Robin Laing and Alex Cole-Baker, has wrapped filming and is now in post-production. The debut feature for writer-director Linda Niccol was in its final week of filming when New Zealand went into Level Four lockdown on March 23 due to Covid-19 restrictions, and was first to resume production. Poppy tells the story of a young woman with Down syndrome who refuses to be defined by her disability and decides to take control of her life.
