The Show Must Go On

How are you doing? And how are you really doing? The wellbeing of those in the performing arts sector is the focus of this fabntastic Equity New Zealand day/night event. The Hauora Ways To Wellness event is free to industry members and peers, and covers a full day of expert talks and workshops. Here's a bit about the speakers:

Julie Crabtree is a Sydney psychologist who specialises in working with performers.

Sarah Houbolt is an international circus and physical theatre performer, arts manager and diversity advocate who designs her life around creativity, deep understandings of accessibility, and the need to question what we can actually see (and what we haven't seen already but should).

Ben Steel (pictured above) is an international actor and filmmaker with over 30 years' experience working on film and television projects. Ben's lived experience with anxiety and depression makes him the perfect conduit to channel industry opinions about mental health in the performing arts sector in the documentary The Show Must Go On.

When: 9am-4.30pm, Friday 27 March, 2020
Where: The Fale, Samoa House, 283 Karangahape Rd, Auckland.

When: 6pm, Thursday 26 March,
Where: The Capitol Cinema, 610 Dominion Road, Balmoral, Auckland.
