Patea's Tapu te Ranga Marae doco premiering at Maoriland Film Festival 2020

In June 2019, Wellington's Tapu Te Ranga Marae was devastated by fire, just two years after the passing of founder Bruce Stewart. This documentary by Ness Patea and Ruth Korver tells the rich history of the Marae as remembered by Bruce in the last years of his life. Ding ding! Round one is open so get your applications in folks! These grants allow writers to be innovative, brilliant, and to create something they own. The Seed Advanced pathway is aimed at reducing competition in the Seed pathway between emerging writers and more experienced writers. The Seed Advanced grants acknowledge experienced writers by offering a higher grant level and flexibility around development costs. The grants are administered by the New Zealand Writers Guild (NZWG) with support from the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC).
