EAT screenwriting workshop on crafting a feature film

Screenwriters, here's a great opportunity to hone your craft. The next Emerging Artists Trust (EAT)  writers' course in Wellington will be Crafting the Feature Film, a seven-session workshop facilitated by Dr Gavin McGibbon. This course is about exploring the idea you have, finding inspiration in old ideas that you may not have quite nailed, or creating a new idea and building on it over seven weeks.

Catch WIFTers' work at the Doc Edge Festival!

Watch out for producer Ruth Korver and director Ness Patea's wonderful doco Tapu Te Ranga Marae which will be premiering online at the upcoming Doc Edge Festival 2020. Six years in the making, their documentary tells the rich history of the marae as told by its builder, kaumatua Bruce Stewart, in the last years of his life.

Meanwhile Rise, also produced by Ruth, will be screening at Doc Edge too. Rise is a short film that dives into the motivations, fears and hopes for a passionate group of young climate activists in Wellington, Aotearoa.
