Last days to enter the Show Me Shorts Festival

Posted Sunday 24 May 2020

Get those submissions in folks, the final deadline is 1 June 2020 (although there's an extended deadline of 1 July, 2020). Set to take place during 2-25 October 2020, this will be the 15th edition of Show Me Shorts, and programmers are looking for cinematic narrative-style films with strong audience appeal.

All genres including animation and documentary are accepted, but experimental films are not.
The films must be 2-20 minutes long, and made within the last two years.
There is no premiere requirement, but priority will be given to films making their New Zealand premiere during the festival.

Show Me Shorts is a competitive Oscar-qualifying festival. It's also a travelling festival, and will be screening at more than 25 cinemas nationwide.
