Karen Kay has taken on Rosie Carnahan-Darby as an agent for her company Karen Kay Management. Rosie has 25 years experience in the comedy industry: the former owner of Christchurch's The Green Room, was also venue manager for Classic Comedy and Bar in Auckland, talent booker for Jongleurs (UK's largest chain of comedy clubs) and producer of live comedy shows. She produced four of husband Rhys Darby's comedy TV specials, was executive producer of TVNZ's Short Poppies and producer of several television pilots.

Meanwhile SAE Creative Media Institute Auckland's Campus Director Dr Suzette Major, has been appointed to the board for the Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand (ITENZ).
ITENZ is the largest peak body association representing Private Training Establishments across New Zealand. Pieter Watson, Chair of the Academic Board at SAE, says he nominated Suzette for the role because "she has leadership in spades, having proved she knows how to run a brilliant college in a dynamic and complex industry," he said.
