Loading docs promo

If you're a Kiwi filmmaker pushing documentary making boundaries whilst telling stories that communicate who we are as New Zealanders... Loading Docs is for you! This year's theme is T?manako/Hope.

Loading Docs films should have a contemporary hook, and they must engage from the very first frame. They should have a strong sense of purpose offering a concentrated story. Ideas that are bold, brave and could be completely out-of-the-box are encouraged. Loading Docs seeks both light-hearted and challenging stories or formally innovative work that pushes the boundaries of what we understand as documentary.

Eight teams will be selected to make short documentaries with durations of up to eight minutes per film and to receive high-level mentorship from internationally acclaimed documentary creators.
