Great news for WIFT member Craig Gainsborough whose series Rūrangi won the audience vote for best feature offering of this year's Frameline44 Festival, one of the world's largest and most recognised LGBTQ+ film festivals. Rūrangi won the AT&T Audience Award for Narrative Feature. Produced by Gainsborough, the series follows Caz Davis, a transgender activist who returns his rural hometown to rekindle a fraught relationship with his father, and his experiences of dealing with his past post-transition.
