It's time to celebrate short film! As is the new normal for film festivals these days, Show Me Shorts includes a mix of in-cinema and online screenings. The SMS team recommends you book ahead to avoid disappointment because capacity is reduced at most venues to allow for social distancing.

Auckland opening night on 2 October has sold out, but there are still tickets for the Wellington opening night at Light House Cuba in Wellington on 8 October and for the Christchurch opening night at Alice on 15 October.

The Awards night on 4 October has also sold out, but there are still tickets available for the short film talks in Auckland and Wellington.

And on on 15 October, from 8-9pm there's an online panel discussion called Meet The Festivals with respected distributors and programmers from some of the best short film festivals in the world:

Enrico Vannucci, Venice Film Festival

Philp Ilson, London Short Film Festival

Katie McCullough, Festival Formula

Jasmin McSweeney, NZFC
