From the pen of BAFTA award-winner Jo Brand, The More You Ignore Me is a big-hearted, comedy-drama about an unconventional British family.
Gina (Sheridan Smith) is a vibrant and loving young mother whose declining mental health separates her from her husband Keith (Mark Addy) and daughter Alice (Ella Hunt).
As she grows up, Alice struggles to connect with her mum but finds common ground with their love for Morrissey. When Alice hatches a plan to bond with Gina, she inadvertently causes chaos that threatens to divide the family forever.
Set to the songs of The Smiths, The More You Ignore Me is a comical, yet sometimes stark insight into life within this quirky and colourful household, and one family's search for hope and happiness.
