Imagine eight-weeks of focused creativity surrounded by nature! If that sounds like something you need, then apply now for the Artist in Residence, this year in Auckland's Waitākere Ranges Regional Park.
This residency was created to reveal often overlooked and undervalued aspects of our parks through the artist’s eye.
Selected artists live and work in a regional park for eight weeks and respond to and evoke that place in their work. Art created is returned to where it was made and shared with park visitors and the public.
Elizabeth Welsh was the 2021 resident, and you can read about her experiences here.
Applications close on 18 February 2022.
