Otago & Southland Film permitting agencies Christmas closure dates

To help with planning your shoots over the next month or so, here are the holiday hours for these organisations.

The Film Offices and Councils will be closed from Friday 24 December 2021.
The Film Queenstown Lakes office and Film Dunedin offices will re-open on Wednesday 5 January 2022 for enquiries and other support, but processing of film permits will not resume until Monday 10 January 2022.

The standard timeframe for processing might also take longer after the break, so if you have projects planned for filming in January, you are advised to get your permits in to be processed before the break to ensure approval before your shoot dates.
