Show Me SHorts 2021

Calling all filmmakers! The sixteenth edition of New Zealand's Show Me Shorts Festival is set to take place at 30 cinemas nationwide (plus online in NZ) during 1-21 October 2021, and your entries are wanted!

Each year SMS programmers curate a selection of the best short films from Aotearoa and around the world, plus some of the top local music videos. They are especially looking for cinematic narrative-style films with strong audience appeal, as well as films yet to have their world or New Zealand premiere.

Show Me Shorts is both a travelling festival that screens at 30 cinema locations, and a hybrid festival, so there will also be screenings of select short films online (geo-blocked to allow only New Zealanders to watch them).
