New digital platform showcases indigenous artists

Moana Nui is a brand new digital arts platform that aims to bring Indigenous artists to new audiences.

Launched by Kia Mau Festival, Moana Nui extends the kaupapa of Kia Mau into a new online realm, to highlight and showcase the global Indigenous and PoC artists.

More than simply a place for content hosted in perpetuity, all works that are part of Moana Nui have been programmed for a maximum of 10 days, allowing audiences to ‘rent’ a piece of work for that time.

All ticketed events are priced at only $10, and many experiences are free of charge.

Catch work by WIFT NZ members Teremoana Rapley, Sarita So and Natala Gwiadzinski.

Live festival programme runs Friday 4 - Saturday 19 June, 2021.
