The competition will be heated. Who will crack under the pressure? And more importantly, who will emerge victorious? Tanea Heke, Director of Toi Whakaari, will moderate two lively teams as they debate the proposition that the arts are essential to help us survive and thrive in Aotearoa: Are The Arts Essential?
This is a unique opportunity to see Kura Forrester, Madeleine Chapman, Toby Manhire, James Nokise, Alice Canton and Tainui Tukiwaho bring their combined wit, charm, and intelligence to an exploration of the value of the arts in our day-to-day lives.
The show is part of the Auckland Arts Festival's Civic Club programme, a special collection of events which sees the audience seated on stage at The Civic.
Tuesday 16 March, 7.30pm, at The Civic Club.
