Doc Edge releases Festival 2021 dates

The 16th Doc Edge Festival has now confirmed the whens and wheres of its 2021 screenings in Auckland, Wellington, and nationwide online.

Carve these dates into your calendar - and keep an eye out for some early title announcements, ahead of the full programme reveal on 27 April.

The Festival includes High Tide Don't Hide by filmmakers and WIFT members Niva Kay and Nia Phipps, Emily McDowell and Phil Stebbings (The Rebel Film Collective) which weaves the stories of five teenagers inspired by Greta Thunberg as they rally against anxiety, climate denial, and white privilege to pull together a record-setting strike in Aotearoa

There are just days to go before the Māoriland Film Festival, New Zealand's premiere international Indigenous Film Festival, in Ōtaki on Wellington's Kapiti Coast. This year there are 120 films to watch over five days of film, with 80 indigenous nations represented!
