Lapwood receives NZCS accreditation

A round of applause for WIFT member Mark Lapwood, who has received accreditation from the New Zealand Cinematographers' Society. NZCS accreditation is recognition as a master cinematographer with a substantive body of work that reaches a consistently high, world-class standard.

Mark has over 25 years' experience filming documentaries, TV commercials, music videos and feature films around the globe. He's highly skilled in lighting design and camera operating for both studio and location shoots, often collaborating in many languages and cultures, with both large and small crews.

WIN double passes to Cousins

Posted Thursday 04 Mar 2021

Here's a treat for you! We're giving away five double passes to this fabulous film, thanks to our friends at Vendetta Films! The passes are valid until 1 April or the season ends.

Cousins is based on Patricia Grace's decade-spanning novel following the fate of three Māori cousins in post WWll Aotearoa. The removal of one cousin from her whānau into state care profoundly affects each woman, and they spend the rest of their lives looking for each other. Co-directed by WIFT member Ainsley Gardiner and Briar Grace Smith, who also wrote and starred in the film.
