Book your seat now for the second in the DEGNZ/PASC Director Takes Series, this time with Kiel McNaughton on 22 May. Director Takes puts a spotlight on leading Pan-Asian New Zealand directors, who share insights about the director’s role in the creative process, the delivery of their vision on screen, and thoughts on topics such as career development and representation.
The session will feature an hour-long conversation and a Q&A, integrate excerpts of the Kiel's work and provide an opportunity to mingle and network.
Director Kiel McNaughton will explore what it is to shape-shift between visual styles as a gun-for-hire. He will also share his experiences as one half of production company Brown Sugar Apple Grunt, chatting about what it takes to run projects from beyond the director's chair.
