After many years of no-to-low increases in rates, the New Zealand Writers Guild is now seeing a shift in fees and offerings for screenwriters. The NZWG Rates Guide has been researched over three years and updated based on current market rates and funding allocations for work on local productions. Experienced writers are encouraged to use these rates as a starting point for negotiation. All rates and fees listed are exclusive of GST.
