Here's a great incentive to film your project in Canterbury! The Screen CanterburyNZ Production Grant is the first of its kind in New Zealand, and will provide just under $1.5 million over the next three years to domestic and international productions that meet eligibility requirements.
This second round for funding applications is open to domestic and international productions that meet eligibility criteria, have a finance plan in place and will wrap filming in the financial year in which you are applying.
Screen Canterbury invites applications from productions with a range of budgets, including those with a Canterbury spend of less than $1m. This second funding application round will close on 28 October 2021. Funding is limited and all application rounds are competitive.
