Here's a great incentive to film your project in Canterbury! The Screen CanterburyNZ Production Grant is the first of its kind in New Zealand, and will provide just under $1.5 million over the next three years to domestic and international productions that meet eligibility requirements.
Currently, productions must have a budget of at least $500,000 or more, have a finance plan in place, and must wrap filming before June 2022 among other criteria.
This first round will be open until 5pm, 20 September 2021. After the first round, additional rounds will open until all funds are allocated.
