This half-day story workshop is an opportunity to practise your writing craft in a queer-led space. Learn helpful narrative techniques to progress your film concept amongst like-minded storytellers.
Speakers are WIFT NZ members Lula Cucchiara, Anna Duckworth, Todd Karehana, and Nikki Si’ulepa.
Led by filmmaker mentors, this is a series of guided individual and group exercises to help you develop your story concept. Attendees will get the most out of the workshop by coming with a film idea in mind. The workshop suits film projects of all lengths and genres, and includes scripted and documentary.
Open to: all who identify as part of the queer, lgbtqia+, rainbow, takatāpui or two-spirit communities.
Come along, enjoy some drinks and nibbles and meet other filmmakers from the rainbow community. All screen industry members and allies welcome!
