A round of applause please for Renae Maihi, Liz DiFiore and Selina Joe, who were all highly involved in the two films selected to screen at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, the word's biggest public film festival!
Renae was a director and writer on We Are Still Here; Liz was line-producer on Muru, while Selina produced it. Tearepa Kahi’s action thriller Muru will premiere in the opening weekend of the TIFF Contemporary World Cinema programme in September.
