If you couldn't make the Big Screen Symposium earlier this year, technology has your back. The team behind the BSS have released podcasts of all the sessions and highlighted those voted the 'favourites' by BSS survey respondents.
The Opening Keynotes were the top favourite, and we're pleased to see some WIFT members in the list of speakers. The series of mini keynote addresses to the theme Mana Auaha-Creative Power, included those by colourist Alana Cotton (The Luminaries, Bellbird), unit stills photographer Kirsty Griffin (The Power of the Dog, The Justice of Bunny King), costume designer Jane Holland (Juniper, Cowboy Bebop).
The next three favourite sessions were The Art of Adaptation with Australian screenwriter Shaun Grant, Production Design on Power of the Dog with Grant Major and a Conversation with Toa Fraser.
These make brilliant listening for walking the dog, sleepless nights and summer break inspiration, and they're streamed on Apple Music, Podbean and Spotify. The 2022 podcasts sit alongside a rich catalogue of sessions from previous years.
And delegates, you can check out the newly released photo highlights for some happy memories!
