Are you a creative working with emerging technologies across the screen and/or video games industries in Aotearoa New Zealand?
Get on down to Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington on 20 August, for Convergence Day: 24 hours of expertise-sharing and networking opportunities for creatives working in the nexus of storytelling and technology, brought to you by the New Zealand Game Developers Association.
Highlights include keynote Connie Kennedy, who will travel from the US where she is Head of Epic’s Lab in Los Angeles after a career spanning almost two decades in visual effects and virtual production.
VFX Supervisor Dan Lemmon (The Batman, Man of Steel, Rise of the Planet of the Apes) joins renowned industry experts.
The programme will culminate with a fireside chat with Academy Award™ and two-time Golden Globe™ producer Jon Landau.
The day will see masterclasses in topics ranging from cameras, lights and sound, through to creativity, production and discussions on the future of Virtual Production, with the aim of creating collaborative opportunities across industries.
