Short filmmaker needed for Show Me Shorts school holiday programme

Do you have experience making low-budget short films? Are you comfortable working with children? Show Me Shorts Film Festival is looking for a filmmaker (preferably female and ideally also Maori or Pasifika) to help at a filmmaking school holiday programme 11-15 July at Parnell District School in Auckland. The contract fee is $1,650 (plus GST if any).

The students will be 8-12 years old and the course runs 9am-3pm Monday to Friday for one week only. There is a lead teacher already on board, but a second teacher is needed to help run the exercises and work with the children. This is a practical hands-on course, where the children will create a short film with guidance.

A vaccination certificate and a police check will be necessary.

Send a brief CV including relevant experience to gina@showmeshorts.co.nz if you're interested.
