Prize-winning news from New York! Congratulations to director Linda Niccol and producers Alex Cole-Baker and Robin Laing whose film Poppy won Best Narrative Feature at the Socially Relevant Film Festival, and to the film's star Libby Hunsdale, who won Best Actress Narrative Feature.
The film has been ten years in the making (back in 2014, Linda's script won the SRFF Scriptwriting competition) and overcame a Covid-19 closure during filming to go on to a successful NZ cinema release in May last year, and screen at a number of festivals around the world.
