Documentary makers, you will want to be in on this one! Lane Street Studios and Wellington Creative are running the Unscripted: Screen Accelerator Project, a five-week programme led by Emmy-winning producer and educator, Jon Kroll. This project is aimed at screen industry practitioners who have ideas they want to develop for an unscripted/formatted or documentary series.
Jon, and a line-up of guest speakers, will work with participants to develop unscripted television shows targeted for US buyers, with a US audience in mind.
Participants will be encouraged to develop projects that can be produced in and around Wellington, using local talent and resources. Each participant will have the opportunity to pitch their project to active television production companies who are looking for new and exciting content.
Participation in this project is free of charge.
Jon Kroll is an Emmy-winning producer and educator. He has overseen many of television’s top unscripted shows, most recently Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted for National Geographic and Disney+.
