NZOA funds projects championing the use of te reo Māori

NZ On Air and Te Māngai Pāho’s fourth co-funding round has awarded 11 bilingual projects up to $5.9m to further champion the use of te reo Māori across a wide variety of platforms.  

We're pleased to see WIFT members' projects are among those funded, so homai te pakipaki to:

Kia ora, Good Evening, 1 x 44 mins, for Three, receiving up to $231,879.

1.5 Degrees – A Global Warning, 8 x 25 mins, for Māori Television, receiving up to $588,276.

Black Iris (Kathleen Mantel)
Auraki, 8 x 26 mins, for Māori Television, receiving up to $587,122. 

Storybox (producers Libby Hakaraia and Ruth Korver)
Hua Parakore, 8 x 26 mins, for Māori Television, up to $614,594. 

Kura Productions (executive producer Hayley Cunningham)
Impossible: Stan Walker, 1 x 44 mins, for TVNZ 2 and TVNZ OnDemand, up to $367,746.
