A feast of short films

If you have a hankering for a short film, come along to this screening of four shorts that narrowly missed selection at this year's NZIFF. On the menu are WIFT member and director Michelle Ang's film NAI/Milk, and the others are The Calf, The Dinner Arrangement and Small Waves.

NAI/Milk offers an alternative narrative about motherhood from a deeply personal point of view.
A single Chinese woman struggles to bridge the cultural and societal expectations of motherhood in a western setting as she loves her son but yearns for a return to her own identity, until she finds release in the most unlikely way.

Get yourself to The Hollywood cinema in Auckland's Avondale, November 23, for a 6:30pm start.

Entry is FREE (or by koha) and there's a cash bar.
