There is one more information webinar on this topic - it's a chance to hear more about the proposals set out in the consultation document and to ask any questions you may have.
The session is Monday 21 November, 11am – 12pm (Open session) – register here to attend.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom meeting information.
Information session recording available
The recording of the first information session on Tuesday 8 November is now available. The information session can be accessed here, and it is also published on the Manatū Taonga website. A PDF of the supporting slides can also be viewed here.
In-depth online workshops
MBIE is also hosting a series of in-depth workshops on the Review for screen sector stakeholders. These in-depth workshops will provide an opportunity for the sector to comment on the proposals in detail and to share their ideas on how we can increase value from government investment in the New Zealand Screen Production Grant.
The five 1.5-hour long workshops will be facilitated online in groups of 15-20 participants to enable robust conversation and idea generation. The exact structure of the workshops is still being finalised but will likely include a mixture of group discussion and targeted, break-out-room conversations around specific areas of change. The timings of these workshops are:
Tuesday 29 November, 10.30am – 12pm
Wednesday 30 November, 2.30pm – 4pm
Thursday 1 December, 10.30am – 12pm
Tuesday 6 December, 10.30am – 12pm
Wednesday 7 December, 2.30pm – 4pm
If you would like to attend, you can register your interest by emailing screenenquiries@mbie.govt.nz with your name, organisation (if applicable) and date of workshop you’d like to attend.
