Congratulations to WIFT members Sharlene George and Zoe McIntosh for their success at the 2022 Show Me Shorts International Film Festival.
George produced Datsun, winner of the Department of Post Best NZ Film award and the Best Cinematographer award (for Marty Williams) and McIntosh and Frith Armstrong won NZ on Air Best Music Video for Better Daze by Hoss.
Of Datsun, the judges said it “worked as a whole, but the cinematography was a particular highlight. A coherent overall package, with a nice arc of tension”.
Datsun is now qualified to enter the Academy Awards.
