Look at Auckland's Hollywood Cinema all lit up! The Hollywood is the home of the Show Me Shorts Film Festival - which is calling for entries to the 2023 Festival. Show off or premiere your short film at this Oscar-qualifying film festival Films must be 2-20 minutes long, but can be any genre. Cinematic narrative-style films with strong audience appeal are preferred, as are films making their premiere.
The Regular Deadline for applications is 1 May.
During 6-29 October 2023 Show Me Shorts will put on 100 screenings in 35 cinemas across New Zealand. The festival will also include screenings of many of the short films through the Festival's on demand platform - these films will be geo-blocked to allow only New Zealanders to watch them.
