First feature wins at PÖFF

The Moon is Upside Down, written and directed by Loren Taylor, produced by Philippa Campbell and Georgina Conder, and production designed by Melissa Spicer, won Best First Feature Film at the PÖFF Tallinn Black Night Film Festival! The film was screened in competition alongside other first features by promising global talents, and Aotearoa's talent won the prize!

PÖFF describes the film as “a must-watch, a thought-provoking examination of connection, loneliness, and the unpredictable twists of fate" and "an uproarious and cleverly dark-humoured rollercoaster.”

PÖFF is one of the 15 A-list festivals accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Association, alongside Cannes, Venice, and other world-renowned festivals.
