Season two of Raised by Refugees is out now, with episodes directed by Kate McGill, and produced by Bronwynn Bakker! The show won NZTV award for Best Comedy in 2022.

The story is inspired by Pax Assadi’s childhood when his parents immigrated to Aotearoa in the late ’80s as refugees and wanted their son to get good grades, while all Pax wants is to fit in!
