Calling all actors, adults or teens! Here's your chance to take a deep dive into learning, laughs, and the craft of acting with the Actor’s Lab. Choose any single block of nine sessions, with two different tutors in each block. Terms are always eight or nine sessions, and there are four terms a year.
Studio founder and WIFT member Peter Feeney and guest tutors (actors and directors at the top of their game) share practical and hard-won wisdom. You get to choose what works for you.
Pulling all the learning strands together, Peter’s book Acting and How to Survive It summarises all the approaches and techniques on offer.

Lisa: Screen acting requires transparency, truth, and connection. Come and learn some simple techniques with me that can get you there every time.

Peter, with Camera: Screen acting, with a focus on tools you can use in your prep to be unselfconscious and free in the moment. Keywording, scene actions, expectations, and more. Take your footage home.

Peter: Acting Gym: A collaborative fun dynamic and irreverent work-out using the scene alignment technique.
- Work using the intelligence of the whole group.
- Learn how to run your own peer-led scene group.

Joel: Acting for Screen – with Camera:
Push yourself to be beautifully dangerous – rehearse one session, film the next.
- Learn what works for you for camera and free up your work.
- Take your footage home.
- Work on 2 scenes of yours or our choice across the 4 sessions.

All classes are at Campbell Free Kindergarten in Victoria Park, Auckland Central.
