Academy Award-winner Frances McDormand joins Oscar nominees Rooney Mara (Carol) and Jessie Buckley (The Lost Daughter) alongside Emmy Award-winners Claire Foy (The Crown) and Ben Whishaw (This is Going to Hurt).
Inspired by real-life events, the story follows a group of women in an isolated Mennonite religious colony in Bolivia as they struggle to reconcile their faith with a string of sexual assaults committed by the colony's men.
Women Talking is nominated for Best Picture at the 2023 Academy Awards, while Polley is up for Best Adapted Screenplay.
