If you are in or around Tauranga on 22 June, get yourself to the Village Community Cinema to enjoy a screening of the feature film Whina followed by a Q&A with its co-director and writer Paula Whetu Jones (Te Aitanga a Mahaki, Whakatōhea, Ngāti Porou).
Paula has directed and produced a range of works over the past 20 years, including a number of social issue documentaries and critically acclaimed feature films, and was one of the writers and directors of the anthology film Waru and co-director and co-writer of Whina.
